Does Your Vehicle Have Recalls?
Sometimes vehicle recalls get a lot of media attention and other times they go unmentioned. Unfortunately for Toyota, we have recently made the news about a fuel pump recall on some of our vehicles (dating all the way back to 2013 models). The plan is always for everything to be right the first time, but sometimes tweaks or repairs are needed after production.
While there are measures in place to inform Toyota owners of any recalls affecting their vehicle, it’s a good idea to periodically check and see if there are any recalls on your vehicle that you are unaware of. With the recent bout of recalls, we wanted to encourage you to check for recalls on your Toyota on the Toyota Recall website.
All you will need to get started is your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). With that information, the site can inform you of any recall repairs needed on your vehicle. If you have had recalls in the past and previously had repairs for those recalls, those items may not show up as the system displays recalls where repairs are still needed on your vehicle.
While we hope that your vehicle recall report comes back clean and nothing further is needed, we are here to help if you do find that your vehicle is in need of repair from a recall. Repair services specific to the vehicle recall are of no expense to the owner. So, just reach out and schedule your repair service with us and let us take care of it for you. We want to get you back on the road safely!
